  • Friends of our Airen and Trish Miller of Airen Miller Photography asked us a few weeks back if we would be interested in accompanying them to NYC Fashion Week down at Gotham Hall. Airen was going to be photographing the latest fashion insights along with highlighting designer Nina Gleyzer with her runway show. We tagged along and filmed her show along with some behind the scenes action. We ventured into the city via the train and as always, we over packed on our camera gear…not to worry as it was all worth it. With two cameras and a GoPro and a few accessories, we captured some pretty cool angles and happenings along with meeting some fantastic people! Check out what went down on Thursday February 11th, 2016.

Special thanks to our awesome team throughout the trip.

  • Yes, another fantastic, awesome, fun filled project for us to share with you all! Working with the ever so talented Naomi Martinez of Naomi’s Studio and Spa to capture some cinema of this styled shoot. Our location was on the 4th floor of Hartford’s elegant city hall. Our models, Erin Brady Capasso and her husband Tony Capasso are featured in this project. Erin being former Miss USA recently got married in December of 2014 and Naomi had done her makeup. With Naomi’s creative mind, she wanted to team up with Erin and her new husband Tony to do a styled shoot that would consist of a bunch of talented wedding professionals around Connecticut. Naomi had approached us to see if we would be interested in filming the shoot from start to finish along with some behind the scenes production. Erica Powell of Erica Powell Events and Reverie Gallery coordinated with Naomi to come up with the ideas and concept behind this shoot as well as the details for planning. Bob and Tammy of Blue Diamond Photography were on pare with photographing this project. Ourselves and Blue Diamond Photography worked recently together back in December of 2014 for Naomi’s 10 Year Celebration event held in Middletown. • We recently teamed up with Simply K Studios and Nightingale Events to produce this shoot at The Town and County styled shoot. Kelly and Kathy of Simply K Studios had asked us a while back if we were interested in participating in capturing some cinema for this project and we were super pumped to join in. Working with Simply K in the past on weddings together, we knew it would be a great project and fit! Teaming up with Lisa from Nightingale Events was exciting as well. Lisa brought in a bunch of talented wedding professionals to create our mock bride and groom’s attire, hair and makeup, table and candy bar settings, cakes and treats, flower and decor, etc., and the list goes on. Having never been to The Town and County Club venue located in Hartford, CT, it was fantastic to see a venue that had a wedding presence as well as the old fashioned bed and breakfast, comfy home feel. Or at least that was our take of it. Very comfortable to work in, the venue had many places to shoot and offered great detail. The film above is a little bit of behind the scenes as well as what went down for the actual project shoot. Take a look at the key participants as well listed below. • Naomi Martinez, owner of Naomi’s Studio & Spa out of Newington, CT recently celebrated with her team of makeup artists and hair stylists their 10 year anniversary. Naomi decided to go all out for this fantastic accomplishment and she and her team totally did! Teaming up with Stephanie Carmody of Très Chic Events, both worked together to plan this event and create the tenth anniversary celebration, 2004 – 2014. A team of sponsors were asked specifically by Naomi to be a part of the celebration and to help make the event happen. We had the amazing opportunity to work with Naomi and her team before the event to create some promotional cinema for everyone to share and to spread the word as well as to learn a little about the history and story behind the studio & spa. By working with Naomi for many hours in her studio, we created a short film that we shared via social media and all around online. Come time for the night of the event, we captured their celebration and created this recap. Here, we are visually able to show what Naomi, her team, and the sponsors were able to create. Congrats again to Naomi and her team for the amazing accomplishment and we hope for many many more years to come!
